Alexeis is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His teaching and research activities are focused on the development of Information and Knowledge Management systems and their use in organisations.

From an original background in Computer Science, Alexeis completed his PhD in Information Systems at Cranfield University with focus on Knowledge Management. He is certified by AIIM as an Enterprise Content Management specialist and completed a Diploma in Management (middle management level) with the Chartered Management Institute. He is member of the IT Section of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) since 2002 and the International Association for Knowledge Management (IAKM).

Alexeis is currently working on information and knowledge management projects with partners such as Telmar Network Technology (an iQor Company) and has successfully completed projects of a similar nature for the British Railway Industry, the UK Ministry of Defence and global engineering companies including General Electric (GE) Energy, Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery and Converteam.

Currently a senior lecturer at Coventry University, his academic experience also includes working at Cranfield University, the University of Bath and Salford University.
