Graham Steventon is a senior lecturer in Criminology at Coventry University.
With a background in architecture and urban design and a PhD in Sociology he specialises in crime and social control in communities and focuses his teaching and research on creative pedagogies that aim to enhance thinking skills, capabilities and self-actualisation in students.
He is co-editor of Improving Student Engagement and Development through Assessment: Theory and practice in higher education published in 2012 by Routledge, and lead editor of Student Attainment in Higher Education: Issues, controversies and debates published in February 2016 by Routledge with a chapter in the latter on authentic learning based on a case study of his teaching on community safety using virtual reality.
