Lara is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing, specialising in Consumer Psychology.

She is also Recruitment tutor for the School of Marketing and Management. Lara’s current teaching responsibilities include Consumer Behaviour (undergraduate and postgraduate) and Communication Psychology (undergraduate).

She also supervises dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research deals with issues of health and wellbeing, with specific focus on food consumption, health campaigns, advertising to children and ethical consumption.

Her work in these areas appeared in Journal of Consumer Behaviour, Association of Consumer Research and International Journal of Advertising. 

Lara is a partner on a research project funded by the European Commission (Framework 7) that investigates implications of drug control policies on well-being of individuals across the drug supply chain (including production, trafficking and consumption).
