Loren Lewis

Biography

Loren Lewis is a Clinical Educator in the Division of Occupational Therapy at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.  Her primary fields of interest are in mental health and group work. She has completed post-graduate studies in group work at the Centre for Group Analytic Studies (CGAS). She has many years of experience in clinical practice across both governmental and private sectors, and has worked in both South Africa and the United Kingdom. She has headed up psychiatric units in private institutions in South Africa. She is very passionate about student education and training and also engages in educational research. She has presented internationally including the 16th International Congress of the World Federation of Occupational Therapy in Japan.
