Dr Natalie Garret-Brown is principal lecturer in dance at Coventry University, UK, where she is an associate member of the Centre for Dance Research (C-DaRE). Within her teaching Natalie has explored the potential of online learning tools for practice based learning and currently leads the MA Collaborative Theatre Making in Association with Frantic Assembly, which takes a blended learning approach.

Natalie has editorial experience of peer reviewed research journals and public facing research event organising in her capacity as associate editor for the international Journal of Dance and Somatic Practices and is co-convenor of the International Conference for Dance & Somatic Practices.

Natalie is an active member of the wider dance research culture within higher education and has just become vice chair for Dance HE (Standing Conference of Dance in Higher Education).
