Terrence Wendell Brathwaite is the Academic Postgraduate Course Director (LLM Law Degree Programmes) and Sr. Lecturer in Law at the Coventry Law School.
He is the Co-ordinator of the Law School’s annual ‘Oil, Gas & Energy Law Converzacione’ and other workshops in the Law School.
Prior to joining the Coventry Law School from the Coventry Business School in 2015, Terry was the Course Director of the Faculty of Business & Law’s Chartered Management Initiative Programme, Founding Convenor of the world’s first MSc/MBA Degrees in Global Development & International Law, and former International Consultant (Industrial Medicine) to the British Council in Kazakhstan.
Pre-Coventry University which commenced in 1994, Terry served with several organizations including the regional World Trade Institute of Latin America & the Caribbean, the regional Caribbean Association of National Telecommunication Organisations, the Central Bank of Trinidad & Tobago, and Project Coordinator (Social Marketing) at The University of the West Indies. He has held Visiting Lectureships at several universities including Harvard University, the CENTRUM Católica Business School in Lima, Peru, the National Normal University of Taiwan, the Emirates Aviation University, and the Universities of Tomsk & Kemerovo, Siberia/Russia.
Terry has an MA Degree (European Union Law) from the University of Leicester, and an MPhil Degree (Industrial Medicine) from the University of Birmingham in the UK.
He is a trained Mediator, Chartered Marketeer & Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management, Companion of the Institute of
Sales & Marketing Management, a Fellow of the International Institute of Law & Medicine, and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.
