Project Overview
Comparative study of welfare policies pertaining to gender equality and diversity.
The Project Leaders are Craig Worrall and Kevin Coyne from Coventry University College – CUC.
OIL Outcomes
- To be able to identify and analyse different cultural ethos underlying varied social policies and provisions in UK and partner university country.
- To be able to appreciate diversity in perspective, practices, values, and strategies in early years practices
- To be able to develop skills in effective communication and working with others towards shared goals
- To be able to engage in critical reflection and thinking from an inter- cultural perspective.
OIL Activities
1. Ice breaker: students will create a vlog (video blogging) introducing themselves.
2. They would also create a set of ‘Can you tell me, I am curious about … ‘ questions for their counterparts
1. Discuss prepared questions and answers to case material
2. Reflect on a comparative approach to the material
