This project will be part of a lecture that will inform 3rd year physiotherapy students about their profession around the world, the advantages and challenges of working abroad and the cultural differences of being a physiotherapist in other countries and continents.
The project will include 2 synchronous Skype calls with a professional physiotherapist in Australia and one in USA. The physiotherapists Meggen Lowry (Australia) and Danielle Haggerty (USA) will give an insight into the professions in these different countries, promote a discussion with our students and answer questions relevant to the topic.
Students should identify advantages and/or differences between these countries. Lastly an asynchronous interview between the CU OIL leading lecturer and UK physiotherapist who immigrated in New Zealand will be played to promote extra discussion with the students.
